Community Wellbeing Impact Report

At GOKRSNA, we believe that strong and healthy communities begin with individual wellbeing. Our Community Wellbeing Programme provides accessible opportunities for people to improve mental wellbeing, build emotional resilience, and develop positive habits that support healthier and more balanced lives.

Through structured wellbeing learning sessions, meditation practices, and community engagement activities, the programme creates supportive spaces where individuals can reflect, learn, and connect with others. The initiative welcomes participants from all backgrounds and encourages practical approaches to wellbeing that can be applied in everyday life.

Since its launch, the programme has grown steadily with increasing participation from community members, families, and volunteers who are committed to improving wellbeing and strengthening social connections within the community.

By promoting preventative wellbeing practices, community learning, and supportive networks, the programme contributes to the development of healthier, more resilient, and more connected communities.

Community Wellbeing Programme

The GOKRSNA Community Wellbeing Programme brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds in a welcoming and inclusive environment where participants can learn practical tools for everyday wellbeing, reflect on personal growth, and build supportive social connections.

Through a combination of structured learning sessions, guided meditation practices, and youth engagement activities, the programme aims to strengthen both individual wellbeing and community resilience.

Participation continues to grow as more individuals recognise the benefits of reflective learning, mindfulness practices, and community engagement.

18 Day Wellbeing Programme

One of the core initiatives within the programme is the 18 Day Wellbeing Programme, a structured personal development programme designed to support participants in building clarity, emotional resilience, and balanced decision making.

Each programme includes:

• 18 sessions
• Delivered across 18 days
• Total learning engagement of 18 hours

Each session explores themes such as wellbeing, self awareness, emotional balance, resilience, responsible decision making, leadership, and positive community values.

The programme draws on long standing traditions of philosophical reflection and ethical thinking that focus on universal human values and personal development. These ideas are presented in an educational context, focusing on practical application in everyday life.

Participants engage in reflective discussions and learning activities that help build habits supporting long term wellbeing and healthier relationships.

So far, 3 wellbeing cycles have been successfully completed, and the fourth programme is currently ongoing.

Meditation and Mindfulness Sessions

Regular meditation sessions are offered to support participants in managing stress, improving focus, and strengthening emotional balance.

Morning Meditation and Reflection

5:30 AM session

A peaceful start to the day combining guided meditation with reflective discussions that support clarity and calmness.

Evening Meditation

8:15 PM session

An evening practice designed to help participants relax, reflect, and develop mindfulness before the end of the day.

These sessions encourage daily habits that support mental wellbeing and emotional resilience.

Children’s Wellbeing and Story Programme

Supporting wellbeing from an early age is an important part of the programme.

Our children’s storytelling sessions introduce young participants to positive values such as kindness, cooperation, responsibility, and respect through engaging stories and discussion.

These sessions help children develop:

• confidence and self awareness
• listening and focus
• emotional understanding
• positive social values

By encouraging reflection and positive behaviour early in life, the programme helps nurture emotionally healthy and socially responsible young people.
